History

Dr. Luo's group is conducting a so-called “potato action” outreach program to enhance the education efforts of K-12 students in micro/nanotechnology. This program is part of the education efforts committed in two NSF grants recently obtained by him.

  1. “Sensors: Two Types of Suspended-Silicon-Nanowire Based Sensors of Ultra-high Sensitivity.” PI: Cheng Luo; NSF-ECS-0529104 Grant period: 09/01/2005-08/30/2008

  2. “NER: An Innovative Intermediate-Layer Lithography Approach For Patterning Conducting Polymers.” PI: Cheng Luo; NSF–DMI-0508454 Grant period: 07/01/2005-06/30/2006.
